Do I need to have prior experience with shamanism?
No prior experience is required; we will have a range of participants from the very experienced to the entirely inexperienced. We welcome all!
Are children welcome?
Teens are welcome to attend with a parent. Teen registrations will be discounted by 25%. It also is possible for teens to attend without a parent, please email to arrange.
Are rate reductions possible?
Yes, there are some opportunities to exchange work for part of your registration fee. There also are some partial, needs-based scholarships available. Please email and let us know what you need in order to attend!

The closest airport is PAE (Everett); you can take a cab to the Mukilteo ferry terminal and walk onto the ferry.
The Seattle airport SEA also works. Unless you plan to rent a car, make a shuttle reservation here. Your stop is Clinton/Langley (Ken's Korner).
Cabs are scarce on Whidbey Island, so if you need a ride from the ferry or the airport shuttle stop, just let us know!

I don't expect to have a car, how will I get about?
In the spirit of community, we will help! We can arrange rides to and from the ferry and the airport shuttle stop, and we'll coordinate rides with others if you wish to visit restaurants, groceries, etc.
Why is this a substance-free event?
There are no moral objections to alcohol, cannabis or psychedelic use; such substances simply are not compatible with the kind of ritual work we will be undertaking. Caffeine and nicotine get a pass; any smoking or vaping of tobacco must take place off-site.
